I've replaced the battery. Now I'm having difficulty reconnecting the display cables. Help!!

Yep, we've all been there. The connectors on an iPhone are a little tricky to get used to. I usually place a small box at the top of the phone as it's laying on the table, then rubber band the display to the box so it stays in place while I'm messing with the cables.
Best way I found is to hold the cable in one hand and place a finger from the other hand over the connector. Use the hand holding the cable to adjust the position of the connector, pressing down lightly with your finger. Move it around until you feel it drop ever so slightly into place, then press it in with your finger.
As noted in the guide, be careful with the bigger ones like the LCD and digitizer; press it in from the ends, not the middle to keep from bending and damaging it.
Take your time and get the feel of it when it clicks in place, then once they're all seated, screw the cover on. Plug the battery in and before you close it up, turn the phone on and verify that everything is working correctly before you button it up.
