The selector Infared sensors not working
Are there any methods on fixing / repairing the sensors?

The first thing to check would be if there was power being supplied to the sensors.
Without a schematic you may have to trace back from the sensors as presumably all the sensors would get power from a common point on the board.
Here's the ifixit Mattel Loopz Speaker Replacement guide that will help at least to gain access to the internal components.
