Where do this rubber fittings go?

I'm re-assembling my macbbok Pro A1708 after a long wait to get my screen replacement and during the re-assemply process I found this two rubber fittings.

I thought they might fit in some vent or even in the USB C ports but I really don't know and decided to askbefore I do something wrong. Any ideas? There's only two of them which fit my USB C port theory ( 2 port model)

These are the rubber gaskets that help prevent water, dirt, dust, etc. from getting into your USB-C ports. These most likely fell out whilst removing/moving your logic board and should be replaced and resealed immediately.
I recommend taking your time and following an in-depth repair guide video for your display replacement to ensure they are installed properly and that you did not miss anything else.

Just ask if there is anything else!

@cpevv - The iFixit guide 2016后期带功能键的13寸MacBook Pro显示屏组件更换 doesn't require taking out the logic board to replace the display assembly and I've never needed to either.

So while they look like the gaskets they normally stay on the connectors when you pull the logic board.

Can't tell for sure because there is no size reference. Can you put them on the tongue of the type C connectors to try out?

Did you take the logic board out? If you didn't then I think thats a Red Herring!
