My 27' 2017 1Mac came with an i5. I want to upgrade the CPU to i7 7700K.
I wonder do I need to update the bios of my iMac. Cheers.

Hi
Macs don’t have a bios so I believe as long as it’s a cpu that has appeared in another mac or is supported by the cpu socket it should work
