High pitched whistle on powering up!
Hi ifixit
I have a DAV-SR2 DVD Sony Home Theatre System that has developed a high pitch whistle when powering on, this whistle gets higher in pitch but eventually dies away after 30 seconds or so and works normally.
I suspect it is an electrolytic capacitor problem in the power section but on first look there are no obvious bloated or leaking caps on all circuit boards, I have the circuit diagram/Schematic but would like your advice as to where to look further or if you know of this problem.

Do you have an ESR meter?

@spanishstef have you narrowed down where the noise is coming from? Checked all your coils? Post some pictures of your boards with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see. 在已经存在的问题里加入图片
