Why cellular data is not working after water damage.
I jumped on the pool with the phone with me. Because a week ago I had to repair the screen myself, the water protection was not there anymore. After using it for 1 hour the screen turned off with an increasing purple filter. I was able to turn the device. After it, I opened it and saw the damage done by the water. There was plenty of water. I disconnected the battery (and remove it) and put the phone on alcohol isopropanol.
After few days drying out with silica gel (for the water). I replaced the screen and it worked since I put the sim card.
It seems out the cellular data is being connected and disconnected all the time. Every 10 sec the data is disconnected and after 10 sec the data is connected. When I call someone everything seems fine. No discconection at all.

I am having an issue with my phone and cellular data. It's hard to say or even for me to remember if it is water damage causing this. All I know is that recently I went out to a doctor's office and could not call an Uber to ger home until a nice nurse gave me their wifi password. By the way, I was able to get mail downloaded and could open some apps that required internet, but I would get a "could not connect with server" when trying to use Uber and when attempting to use safari with wifi turned off it says "safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server."
My guess is that it could be coffee damage because recently my Apple Keyboard for my mac also stopped working (the QUERTY" row of keys and the tab stopped working today and I believe both the keyboard and phone were on the part of the desk where the coffee (black) was spilled.
