I got a new HDD for my PS3 slim but when I go to put it into the PS3 the HDD won't go all the way into place? When I look in the drive slot thar is like a bump in the way
I see the bump, barely. Too blurry to make out. Here are some ideas if you haven't already thought of them.
Have you tried blowing out the slot with a can of compressed air? Did you look at the connector face of the original hdd and compare it to the new one? Possibly a piece of one or the other broke off inside the slot? Maybe try a magnetic wand on that bump, see if it sticks and comes out?
