TV with no sound or picture.
Panasonic TH-50PC77U 50" plasma TV with no sound or picture. Red power light comes on when remote power button is pushed, but no picture, no sound. Menu display works perfectly and scroll through all the various options. Replaced control board that has the HDMI connection about 9 months ago and the TV worked like new until last week. No clue what's wrong.
@irkman1 does your TV have the same symptoms now as it did 9 mth ago? So you are saying that the menu (options and all) shows on the screen but no other video?

The symptoms are different vs when the I had to replace the mother board. This time when the power button is pushed, the red power light on the tv lights up but the picture seems to be getting power but the screen remains dark with no sound. I also get a "No Channel Available" alert with a blue backdrop screen.

Do the TV menu screens work?
Have you checked that the signal source is OK e.g cable box, streaming device etc?
Try using a different signal source e.g. dvd player and check.
