iPhone x random faults

Hi everyone,

I’m having some issues with an iPhone X. I bought it used with low battery health and a cracked screen, both of which I replaced with replace base components. Now it is repaired I’ve noticed a few issues with the phone and I have no clue what is causing them.

Occasionally, maybe every half hour the phone randomly decides to restart, even when on charge. The phone is also slow to react to the power button.

If anyone has any idea what could be causing this or what tests I could do to see what the potential issues may be I would be very grateful.

Hi, Rory Sanders.

As you say that your iPhone X randomly restarts and reacts slowly to the Power button, I guess that there is something wrong with your iPhone system. You can try to update your iOS firstly. If it doesn’t work, then turns to iTunes and restore your iPhone X with it. Restoring your iPhone will erase all your phone data and settings and turns you back an iPhone that needs to be set as new for use. Compared with iOS update, I think that iTunes restore would fix system issues more completely and thoroughly. Alternatively, you can use a professional iOS repair tool like iSunshare iOS Repair Genius to check and fix your iOS.
