Did you order just glass or the pre-assembled glass and frame? If the pre-assembled then I would say the proximity sensor is defective. Take it out and put the old one back in. Otherwise the earpiece is bad.

When in call mode, does the screen turn off when next to your face?

It could be that when you changed the screen you may have unclipped the connector for the speaker. I forgot which one it is i think its either number 4,5, or 6. Its the one at the bottom.

nope..earpiece is connector 3. 4 is for loudspeaker and mic. I get them mixed up but 6 (the little round clip in top left of motherboard) is a bit finicky and can easily be dislodged. If you check these things and they still don't work I'd check connector 3 is clean, straight in it's connection and has no damage. Make sure lock bar is on connector 3 it doesn't always make a difference but it's worth a try. As for the wifi....try resetting network settings in settings/general

i opened my phone again i cant see anything disconnected??? the reason why i replaced the screen assembly in the first place is it wouldent scroll the scroll bar to unlock the phone to then use it. And in doing this the new screen installed my speaker for the head set was not working but loud sepaker was fine... Ive double checked the connections. I also have a dodgey wifi connection capabilty its also not working.... So is it the phones mother board or cpu or am i missing something???? Thanks for reply IREPAIR MAN :D ^^
