iPhone X can't be recognized on my PC

Hello everyone

Recently I bought iPhone X from the second hand. I wanted to transfer files from pc to iPhone and pc didn’t recognized it, I tapped on “Trust“, removed passcode and tried it in recovery mode but still nothing. It charges only when I plug the charger when iPhone is booting but when I plug the charger when it is booted it didn’t charge. And also iPhone will only boot up with pluged in charger but when iphone boots up i can remove charger. So I tried to disassembly it and I found it is missing small steel part (see image). Could it cause that problem?

hello Gzegozs,

this small bracket isn’t a reason of your problems. You have got problem with corresponding DOCK flex or its port in the board. We call that “accessory problem” which is quite difficult to diagnostic. Perfectly should be try change a all housing set (from another X) and check. But, I suggesting you take off a screen (if you have enough knowledge and experience for that) and connect extended dock flex and check connectivity to your computer. Hopefully, it will finish on dock flex change.
