Perego Ride on Green Train
Just won’t run. Can’t be battery. Have 2 batteries. Won’t run with either. Can get parts but don’t know what part to order. Any suggestions?
I would say the motor is burned out from running, or a wire came loose, you could try taking it apart to check out the mechanism and make sure it looks decent and/or order a new motor.

Tested the motor. It is good. Power isn’t getting to it for some reason.
Put a new accelerator switch in too. The train is only used at Christmas time. We put it away when the kids atart to slack off their use of it. Usually around Fevbruary. The train is only two years old. Hate to see a $200 toy wasted.
Maybe check out the batteries connectors to make sure that there clean and the wires are soldered right, if power is not getting to the motor it could mean that there is acid/corrosion on the circuit board, not making a clear enough connection. If there is any corrosion anywhere in the train try and clean it off with rubbing alcohol. Also leave in the new batteries overnight making sure the toy is on. Sometimes it takes a while for the batteries to warm up in the toy, and maybe it will start up working
