Water Damaged SSD Recovery? Anything

So this is a niche problem, because most people would give up by now. But I had some important stuff on this phone and I’d do just about anything for it back. So heres the deal:


Its water damaged, very water damaged, brought it to a shop and he said there was a lot of water in it then, and that most likely I tried to power it on with water inside and it shocked the system.


In a computer, if other systems are shot, then you can just take out the hard drive and plug it into an operational computer, and the data would be there. I understand that the SSD is affixed to another part of the internals quite tightly. BUT, is it possible to transfer the SSD to another iphone(or anything else), and be able to recover the data? I feel like it must be, just rather difficult.

It is possible to transfer the NAND to another device but this would be the last resort as not only will you need to transfer the NAND but also the CPU, SD ram, EEPROM etc. A reputable repairer will first try and get your phone to boot as it is the easiest and most cost-effective way of retrieving data.

Which is why I recommend ipad rehab. You can do what is necessary unless they get bad advice and someone tries to repair or get data from the phone and they don't know what they are doing. They you can completely lose the data and it is not coming out of the phone.

Send it to jessa at iPad rehab ipadrehab.com they have a flat fee and I believe that they don't charge you unless they get the data. She had a phone sent in from nova Scotia that was dropped in a lake and was sent to her 11 months later and she was able to get all of the data. I would send it to her first, people not knowing what they are doing can damage the phone were it's impossible to retrieve data. She was one of the people to start doing this work about 10 years ago and is one of the best in the world.
