How do I start my Fire TV stick without a Fire TV remote?

So I was having problems with a lot of apps of my Fire TV Stick, and I decided to reset it. The only problem - my remote was broken. I have been using my smart TV remote with the Fire TV for weeks now. Now that I’ve reset my Fire TV Stick, it asks me to press the home button on my Fire TV stick remote to start up and connect to the remote. Is there any way I can start it without the Fire TV remote. I don’t even need to connect to it anymore, as Fire TV works fine with my smartphone remote.
