Why can't I seat display cable

I bought a second LCD display because I thought I may have done something to the cable end coming into the unit. It doesn’t seem to be it. I’ve no power at all to the LCD though I have an external display, not only is no power reaching it, it isn’t recognized by System Preferences. This is my first MacBook repair. Any and all tips appreciated.

Sadly the socket was damaged somehow. It looks like someone pulled straight up Vs sliding out the tang to the side as outlined in the guide MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2010 Display Replacement as stated in Step 15.

Sadly its time for a new logic board as being the easiest fix, otherwise you’ll need to find someone with the needed skills and tools to replace the connector, but that still assumes the logic board is good, that’s a large gamble here.

Here’s the guide you’ll need to follow to install it: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody 2010晚期逻辑板更换

Thanks ! The dummy was me ! Iswore I came out parallel to the board, but either i did pull up or my explorations wounded it.

I'll follow the links to check prices, but I need a part # for the connector just in case. The rest of the system is fine.
