No power to unit after being plugged into 240v.
Kitchen Aid Nespresso machine 110v
Swapped the Ceramic Disk and thermo Cap and jumped the main board trace that burned up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
cryforsilence … there are many more components that look burnt. need to keep checking for shorts and faulty components. also, some of the solder joints are still burnt up. need to address those. keep working on this and post back after. post updated pics so we can see the clean up job and give feedback. after this, if there is nothing looking bad and no components test bad, the board itself can be shorted and fried internally. it happens, but lets clean up some more and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. Im struggling on finding the components to replace with. Anything in particular that screams out? Thanks
there is a ceramic cap that looks kind of burnt by the 8 pin chip...other than that, youll want to test caps for shorts across them, pull data sheets for your ic's and make sure that vin and vout are displaying voltages and check any mosfets/switches for shorts between gate and source. diodes should only allow voltage one way so if there is any reverse reading they are bad. pull from circuit to test.
