MacBook Pro won't turn on after battery drain, magsafe give no lights

My MBP went off yesterday since I forgot to charge it up. I remember that the battery percentage was only 4 or 5 % before it shut down by itself. after the mbp was shut down, I press the power button immediately and the mbp was still be able to turn on and I saw the battery was only 4% and then turning off again. when I tried to plug the magsafe in, the magsafe adapter shows green light and I disconnect the magsafe. and trying to connect it again but no lights at all. Btw the charger is not the original one but it works fine all this time. can you help me to diagnose the problem? thank you

Well you got the double whammy! First it does sound like your 3rd party charger has damaged your system. This sadly is a common issue with these cloned MagSafe units What does a knockoff charger do to a Macbook Pro Retina? Why should you not use one?

You also appear to have a bad battery as well. But you’ll need to get your logic board fixed first.

the battery is brand new and it was fine, just 7 cycle count @danj

Gee, I wish you had stated that in your question!

So... I would see if the original battery still has some charge, plugging it in did that work?

Do you have access to a real Apple charger?

yaa sorry @danj forgot to tell about the battery. The original one has more than 1300 cc. and actually I replace the battery a week ago because the battery is dead already. Do you think if I borrow the original magsafe would help?

I would give that a try!

thank you very much @danj. I'll accept this solution first and will give the update here once I get the original charger
