iMac screen won't turn on unless power cable is at a certain angle.

If I put the power cable in all the way, the fans will run (at full speed), but the screen will not turn on. If I move the power cable out a little bit, it will boot with the screen on. Once I have it booted, I can move the power cable all the way in. Does this call for a replacement power supply?

I’d start with a new power cable. much cheaper to boot.
