How to fix Broken Screen
Computer got dropped, behaving perfectly except for some lines on screen, got told I need entirely new screen: I don’t necessarily believe this. Any tips/suggestions on fixing?

@hayleyaannikki I agree with @Deadly Pants answer. Although in theory the lcd retina panel may be replaced, the screen build pretty much prevents an end user successful replacement. Retinas Lcd don’t come cheap on their own, the job is pretty difficult and chances are that without some experience and proper tools, the final result will be so miserable that one will regret not having purchased the full screen assembly in the first place.

No way to fix it other than replacing the whole screen. You can open it up and check if there arent loose display cables but you will most likely need a new lcd. You can find offbrand ones on aliexpress or get it fixed at a local shop.
Just dont go to Apple, they will charge you more than what the computer costs for a new display.
