HI guys
my ol’macbook pro is starting to fall apart
the black plastic stuff covering the hinge of the display is gone i’ve already ordered one but i don’t know how to change it
any help or common experience will be appreciated

Although the clutch cover guide is for the previous model, last steps are the same for the 2011 MBP too, except for a few different screws, but you can find the correct guidelines for them in the 2011 display replacement guide. Here they are:
