Hi!
I have a LG Smart TV with a display problem but only on the main menu and options. No problem on the image coming from hmdi and other. Just the menu image that overlaps. If I test the image on the settings I can't spot anything problematic.
Any ideas?

Did you already installed the newest firmware? And is it also showing the lines when the screen is entirely black? Any Possibility to run diagnostics or something ?

A: I run the internal image diagnostics from the TV, no problems detected

Yes, it has the lastest firmware.
No. It only shows lines when there are LG elements on the screen, like options, settings, subtitles (if they are run from the TV, and not imbedded in the image), etc. Lines, always have the tendency to go to the upper left corner.
The picture diagnosis from the TV settings shows no problem.

Perhaps the panel is getting bad.. But I'm not sure. Maybe someone else here knows exactly what it is. How old is the TV ? And do you know the exact model you have?

The TV has less than 3 years old.

Hi Serge. Unfortunately no, I didn't find a solution. I have the firmware up to date, I have no clue what's going on :(
