Camera assembly not getting power

I recently swapped out my camera due to the facial recognition not working. Followed instructions online and had no issues. I have taken it apart again, just to verify it is firmly seated and everything is sitting as it should, with all cables in place. Powering on my phone, I no longer have a camera, or the ability to even open the camera. The camera goes to a black screen and then the app shuts down (All camera apps, ie. snapchat…). When using the shortcut menu, the camera and the flash are both greyed out. I even put the old camera back in, and there is still no power going to either of them, so the fact that the IR camera is serialized is irrelevant. While taking out the battery, there is a chance I may have damged one of the two batteries (Slight bend in one), but like I said, everything is working just fine, except the camera and everything associated with it.

My question is, could it be that I damaged one of the batteries and that battery is specifically responsible for the camera unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
