My Nintendo Wii U Tablet is dead how do I fix this?

Hi i picked up this Wii U tablet for cheap that will not power on and will not charge. I tried a different charger and no power, nothing. I tried the dock and nothing no charging light. I tried replacing the battery and again no power, no light, nothing. It’s completely dead. I charged it for 12 hours and it did not make a difference. I opened it up and checked the insides. It all looks untouched. I’ve seen tutorials but there are no tutorials of people actually fixing this issue which is quite common. Instead they replace the motherboard and they don’t tell you that it’s region locked. I honestly would rather just buy another gamepad if this is the only fix. Since it will almost cost as much as a working gamepad if i buy a mobo. I watched My Mate Vince’s video and he couldn’t figure it out either. People say it could be a bad fuse or a bad ic somewhere on the motherboard it would be great if something like that was the cause since it will cost almost nothing to repair the issue. I have the right equipment to fix these kinds of issues but i just can’t seem to figure out what’s at fault. Any experts here?

This kind of repair will most likely require the schematics for the device, a multimeter and some type of previous soldering experience, from what I’ve read in your post it seems the CPU is dead or a component on the motherboard related to power. You would have to test the components to see if that’s the issue or related the CPU. That’s my best advice I wish I could help more.

Sincerely,

I'm sure it's a bad IC, the region lock has nothing to do with this issue.
