Dryer Not Heating Up

I have a Kenmore electric dryer (HE4 actually) that won’t heat up. Below is what I’ve done to troubleshoot:

# Replaced the heating element

  1. Replaced the thermal cut out, thermostat and thermal fuse
  2. Checked the voltage at the circuit breaker. . .getting 240 VAC and 120 VAC on each one.
  3. Checked the voltage at the wall plug. . .again 240 VAC and 120 VAC were good.
  4. Checked the voltage on the terminal board on the back of the dryer. Getting 240 VAC and 120 VAC.
  5. The blower runs
  6. I’ve cleaned out the lint in the pipes (wall and dryer). . .not much build up anyway.

What else can it possibly be??? I don’t think the control board is bad. Do I need to replace the heating relay or Thermistor???

You hit almost everything

Cause 1

Main Control Board

The main control board might be defective. However, this is rarely the case. Before replacing the main control board, check all of the more commonly defective parts. If you have determined that all of the other components are working properly, replace the main control board. (The control board cannot be easily tested, but you can try to inspect it for signs of burning or a shorted-out component.)

Cause 2

Timer

If the dryer doesn’t heat, the timer might be defective. However, this is very rarely the case. Before replacing the timer, check all the more commonly defective parts. If you determine that all of the other components are working properly, test the timer by using a multimeter and consulting the wiring diagram. If the timer is defective, replace it.

Thanks for the response. What are the "more commonly defective parts" you're referring to? I thought the common parts were the ones I replaced already?

完成的

Yes, you've already replaced the common part failures.
