iPad in boot loop after home button replacement

Hello,

I have an iPad that we recently replaced the screen on, and then noticed that the home button wasn’t working. When we finally replaced that, it began boot-looping endlessly. Does anybody have a fix for this?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that as of now, we have tried a hard reset, and are now currently letting it completely drain and then trying to plug it in and boot it.

I'd try if it boots with home button disconnected to start with.

Not sure on iPads but on iPhones if the device does not have a home button connected to it this can cause this issue. Not sure but it’s possible even with the new button that the device can’t tell it’s connected. The new button should not make a difference other than Touch ID not working. Return to home should still work.
