Hi @kirby20

May I know what issues are having?

Not sure what you mean on LCD plate,

but I know there are some repair attempts I had read, which you could be referring to, e.g. lcd panel... dlp chips, color wheel, etc....

configurations can be varies on the manufacturer.

best to share some pics to us to have a look...

sometimes the parts to get can be hard, and also not cost effective.

as shown on the last picture, noticed that the LVDS cable has been ripped.

Had you tried asking directly from the projector manufacturer / distributor if they sell parts?

is there any model number / info shown behind the LCD screen?

I have tried to contact the company but unfortunately, since it is a cheap projector, it is sold from a Chinese company and it is difficult to track down the company and its suppliers. As for the model number, there isn't one on the back of the screen since the light has to pass through the screen however there is one on the LVDS cable, I will be able to post that later I don't have it with me at the moment, I have searched the number with no success may be one of you will have better luck

COMPLETION ANSWER

These things are not repairable due to cost problems :/. Once the LCD burns due to the heat the COB LED light source generates (yeah, it's bad; hold a proper LED flashlight and run it for 5 minutes, then feel the head where the LED lives) the repair and needed fan upgrade on a lot of them tends to total them out rather quickly. This is why I detest these and would much rather pay a lot more for a used Epson PL/BenQ/Optoma/any known brand portable unit, even with a "consumable" lamp; they do not die in 6 months-1 year due to COB LED heat.

If you get lucky and the polarizer is just trashed (and it can be purchased) then maybe it can be, but don't hold your breath that the repair will last OR it can be done in such a way to make it last. These things are so bad I would only buy one if it comes with a nice projector screen for not much more than a standalone, use and abuse it in places I wouldn't put my Epson through and dump it when it dies due to this fault.
