unable to remove bottom case

Having removed the 10 screws of the bottom case, I have lifted an lifted the case and unable to "pop" it off. How hard does one have to lift? I'm afraid of "dimpling" the case.

This MacBook Pro has the built-in battery. Could there be glue holding the bottom case a la iPod Batteries glued fast? Or, is there a tool to reach into the area where the bottom case seems "glued" to something?

Thanks,

I've done that, usually when I missed a screw.

There's a few simple clips on the the lower case that lock into plastic retainers attached to the upper case. They are similar to the clips found on the new MacBook Unibody 13" lower case which can be seen here. One of the black plastic clips mounted to the upper case of a Mid-09 15" MBP Unibody is visible in this picture.I usually wedge my fingers under the lower case near the vent and pry up to pop the lower case off.

This model has no glue holding the bottom panel if it's sticking at the back end where the display hing is just wiggle and lift gently should come off easily
