Problems with Samsung SSD
I have mid 2011 iMac 27”
I tried to install a Samsung 860 EVO SSD it didn't work, before I had used a Samsung 840 EVO which runs at 6.0 Gb’s.

You do need an in-line thermal sensor OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for iMac 2011 Hard Drive Upgrade as well.

inizovtsev - I just did two 2011 systems with them. Sounds like you had other problems or a bad drive.
