First check the battery. Is it charged? Is it healthy or old and dead? If the battery is OK take the camera to a service facility; you cannot fix the insides of cameras, unless you are a trained camera technician.

Known problem... hundreds have the same problem with this camera... no known solving issue.. looking for an answer all over the internet... Even Nikon doesn't want to fix... new battery, received today... impossible to turn on camera
Talked to a Nikon repair guy: his simple answer … “it’s a contact issue” meaning the problem can be most likely solved with a soldering iron, reworking solder points one by one…

ma alla fine qualcuno c'è riuscito? non esiste un consiglio decente, accettabile, intelligente, competente, onesto in tutto il web!
credo invece che il problema sia del software, la macchina va in protezione o per la batteria troppo scarica o peggio per la batteria non originale. in questo caso sarebbe un comportamento profondamente disonesto della Nikon! che non ha mai rilasciato una soluzione che possa essere utilizzata dal cliente finale, il quale deve per forza rivolgersi a quei centri di avvoltoi convenzionati e complici!
