Hard drive replacement qa

Mac Mini 2.4 2gb

Hi,

I followed your guide to upgrade the hard drive carefully, the only qa I have is

you mentioned pealing the cable out for HD

Do I have to attach this cable back to the New HD also? Can I put on glue.

Do not use glue. Get a roll of electrical tape.

and i assure if you use a bihadesive tape VERY THIN you can replace the little piece of tape between thermal senso or front of the hdd and the front of the hdd itself and it works! substituted the Toshiba 320GB factory HDD with a WD5000BEVT (ever sata2, 5400rpm) ^_^
