freezing with internet and with out
laptop keep freezing on me and dont know what the problem could be contact apple and the since is an old model they are not dealing with it can you please help me

Also, it's always a good troubleshooting step to remove the battery, Airport, and extended RAM, and then reset the PMU and PRAM. It may not make a difference, but it's a good idea to rule all of those items out, especially before you start spending money.

I would recommend backing up your files and then restoring the OS to factory settings using your installation CD's. If restoring the OS does not solve your issue, you may be dealing with a bad hard drive or bad logic board. I would recommend replacing the hard drive first, as it is the cheaper fix. If that does not work, you may need to purchase a new logic board.
