I have a RIG100HX mic and whenever I plug it in to my Xbox One controller I have to rotate the mic wire in the controller until it works. But after a while completely stopped working.
certain headsets have issues with the xbox controller, the apple earpods have a constant beep when used with it, so i think it's specific to the headset but it could also be the controller having issues with the audio port
