Through trial and error, I found this situation a head scratcher. My problem is that I can not burn a home movie DVD from iDVD. It will burn backup files on DVD and CD disc through the burn folder. I can also burn a DV Movie file using my Toast 6 Titanium. So the super drive does work. I don't want to go through changeing it only to find it's a software situation. Any ideas?

Are you using the basic iDVD? You may need to get iLife 11 for the expanded capabilities.

Mayer is right. For a job like this you can use iMovie which is also included in iLife, but I dont believe iDVD has this functionality.
