已解决： Console won't go to home screen - PSP Go

Console won't go to home screen

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this; my PSP Go starts up okay, but when I push the slide screen up it just stays on the clock and won't open the home screen, so I can't access any of my games.

Can anyone tell me what moght be causing this? And what do I need to resolve it?

Hi!

I would start by tearing the whole thing down and putting it back together, this should fix any loose ribbon cable connections that might have come loose after all those years of service. Also while at this, look for any obviously broken or worn out ribbons (I am especially referring on the LCD ribbon). Here's the ifixit teardown.
