Post-Clean Keyboard Failure MacBook

Hello there

So a few days ago I was cleaning my keyboard with foam keyboard cleaner. An epic fail I had no idea about until too late. Basically my entire keyboard stopped working, none of the keys worked and it was continuously making that annoying 'boop' sound. I have left it for a few days and some of the keys have started working again but most of the letters on the top two rows do not. I was just wondering if it would be worth allowing it more time to dry out or go and consult a macstore and seeing which vital organ I need to sell to replace it?

I would open it up and let it dry out for a few more days. It couldn't hurt that much and it's a lot cheaper than buying a new top case.

If some of the keys started working, I'd say you just didn't let it dry long enough. Do as mayer says.
