Doesn't turn on after disassembling for dust cleaning

Hi,

It is not the first time I disassemble a computer. I have done it many times with my MacBook Pro.

But this time, I have done it for the first time on a Macbook A1181. I followed this guide to access the fan: MacBook Core Duo Fan Replacement

After reassembling the computer doesn't respond when I press the switch... :-(

I have checked the upper case cable (step 12) but it looks fine.

What should I do?

Finally, I solved the problem by changing the upper case cable.

Unfortunately I couldn't buy on iFixit. I found it there: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01MSH3...

And then followed this guide: MacBook Core Duo Upper Case Cable Replacement

I think you hit it on the nose. Step #12 MacBook Core Duo Upper Case Replacement

That connector can be tricky.

To confirm, try disconnecting the battery and mag-safe adapter. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Reconnect and see if you get a spontaneous reboot.
