kindle not turning on after I've tried holding on button for 30 second
kindle 4 not turning on after trying to hold start button for 30 seconds as suggested, is there anything else I can try

@pgtips if it does not show any sign of life it could be a failed battery. You do want to start off by changing that one. This guide Kindle 4 Screen Replacement will get you to the battery. Of course, check the charger first and make sure that your connector is not dented etc.
