Why my go pro black out?

I would like to ask because before my go pro was ok and we use it after we take a video my go pro turn off with message of "Go pro is too hot" after that it turn off. I guess it was only lowbattery. But when I go home and charge it the go pro is not charging. And if I press the power button go pro is not responding like it was no power. Please help me because it is only 1 year ago since I buy. Thank you.
