Many people online say that it is very difficult to remove and replace the Surface Pro 4 screen but your 7 step process makes it look rather easy. Why do others make it sound like it's such a hard, lengthy process? Also, can the screen be replaced if part of the frame is bent?

Here on iFixit we don't make things "look" easy.
We show the process of replacing/ repairing stuff, in your case the screen, the way it is.
It's a pretty straight forward process for the Surface Pro 4, but the fact that you need heat to loosen the adhesive (of which there is plenty of, make no mistake here) makes it look difficult for most.
About the dent/ bent chassis... it depends how bad it is. You could attach a picture to show us.

I have attached 2 photos to show the two places where the frame is bent.
Alright, so you could replace the screen, but there still will be a gap between the frame and the new screen - it will sit in there just like the old one.
Thanks for the quick reply! This may be a dumb question but do you think the touchscreen can still work even if there is a gap?
The screen will work as long as the connections to the motherboard are untouched.
