MacBook Pro A1286 mouse becomes jumpy and slow

Hi,

My mouse becomes very jumpy after about 15 ~30 minutes. mouse moves slow also with usb mouse.

I've run hardware test and it gives a problem with battery. it's not original.

can this cause my problems?

With charger the i've got the same problem, but it seems a little less. also when charger is plugged in and the mouse is slow, and when touching with my other hand the metal chassis while moving the mouse with the other hand the mouse response normal.

Tested with differend HD and memory, but no avail.

Take the bottom off. Test if the trackpad has improved. Check the battery for swelling. Remove the battery and test the trackpad. Replace the battery.

Honestly this is just an educated guess, but the memory might be failing. Try removing 1 module (if you have 2, if not try to find a replacement to test with) boot and test, if the problem persists swap the module and boot again. Let us know if this works.
