Having similar issue however, what if you are dealing with a server that is in another country? Example:
I use an online slot game that is based in Cyprus a cheesy nothing island about 5000 miles away and often because the signal has to transfer via satellite which is how most internet long distance works via WiFI my RCA tablet either locks up or I lose connection and often lose my credits on the game because of it. I use a cheesy WIFI booster app but, often that shuts off and loses connection. Tablets in general may be nice and handy to use but, let's face it I think it has a lot to do with the built in antenna on them and if you have too many walls from the router and the distance of where the servers are has a lot to do why WiFi cuts out.
Always consider whatever we look at online not every page or especially gaming apps will work that great because most may be long distance. Each server locally may have to communicate to another server long distance depending on the origin of the website. All signals have to go out into space and back to router to device we are using.
These servers have to transmit billions upon billions of packets of data every second so that we consumers can complain about why we lose signals or data drops and most have to communicate via satellite. Hence, it is why they call it wireless!!!

Tablet is connected. But it is stuck on connection check. When I back out it says connected and excellent signal strength.. I hit next and it says this can take a while. Has been stuck there all night. How do I get past this step? The skip button is there but isn't clickable.
