My computer crashes randomly

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a MacBook Pro 2013 (second-hand, yes maybe not the right choice).

2 weeks ago he started to crash randomly, but more often during or just after the boot.

I tried everything : downgrading the OS, cleaning and replacing the OS, using a fan control software, unplug the battery and tested the computer with the charger...

It reminds me the symptoms of my late MacBook 2014 who was exposed to water. But this one wasn't exposed to water and worked very well during 1-2 months.

I used etrecheck, nothing particular was detected. I also used the diagnostic boot, nothing too.

The fan controller shows high temperatures during and just after the boot and after watching videos or prolonged using.

PS : it's 16GO of RAM

There is signs of wear in the insides (SSD screw for example).

I planned an appointment in the nearest Genius Bar but it's in a week and I need it.

Sounds like you have temperature problems. I run TGPro on it to see if you can locate the issue:

Tried it, no overheating detected.

One thing to know is that I have no shutdown during recovery mode.

I'll try to reinstall the OS but I think I'm losing my time...

With no shut down in recovery mode I would go for a software issue. Possibly a virus. I would completely wipe the drive at this point and reinstall the system. Also add a paid for anti-virus program like Norton.

When you say "completely wipe the drive", you mean format the SSD, then reinstall the OS?

I already did this (I had a problem with the SSD at this moment but it was solved) and still the same shutdown problem...

What problem with the SSD?

完成的

I don't remember exactly but I tried to repair it with the SOS and it was impossible. But the problem was fixed and I was able to install the OS.
