My ABS light and TCS light are always on and engaged
My ABS and Traction Control light are always on, how can I fix this and are they absolutely essential or can I just turn them off. It will still pass NY state inspection with them on

@dragonofaz , Matthew, Check all fuses and relays. Could be faulty wheel bearing/bad/loose wires/plug to ABS sensor or could be faulty ABS sensor, ABS pump motor faulty, EBCM faulty, etc. To help diagnose the issue better, have the vehicle scanned for error/diagnostic codes which may pin point the issue. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track. See technical service bulletins (TSB) link below and links to a couple forums that discuss your problem.
