I accidentally let the phone run dead. After charging for 6hours I had power, but can't get a dial tone. I started messing with the menu button and being a luddite now have no dial tone and don't know which menu setting it should be on

@mustang88 , Stuart, If you have more the one Uniden Dect 6.0 phone and charge station, try and putting the trouble some phone back on the main/mother/home station for 5 min's, as it may need to pair up to work properly. This has to be done on some cordless phones when battery dies or power outage. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Thank you. I just had to unplug the battery again and replug it. It was not properly plugged in. Probably clogged a little or something.

Try to remove the battery and leave it out for an hour to reset the phone

I had this problem as well after I rearranged my home office. Brand new battery worked great for a few weeks, then dead. Base showed red light to indicate charging, but phone wasn't charging. Unplugged phone from the new power bar and plugged directly into wall and that fixed the problem, had to have a direct power source.
