Just won't turn on. No red lights, no remote access. I've been told to replace the external power supply. Any help in buying this?

bill P not sure what you mean by external power supply. The UN48JU6400FXZA uses a BN96-35336A power supply board. I'd Check the fuse on that first. Post some images of your power supply board with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.
If you do want to just replace it, the board is available at multiple places like this.
