Smashed my iPhone and have read lots of posts about the screen. I have even replaced the glass once before.
This time, the LCD is also broken.
Any suggestions on evaluating whether it is even MORE broken?
Screen comes on with Home button and Power button, but it is just white with some small amount red. Phone calls don't ring through as far as I can tell.
Any additional diagnosis recommended before buying parts?

To be honest I'd just start with the LCD. there's no real way of finding the other problems until you can see what is happening on screen. Do that and then get back to us.
