And I'm thinking is swapping the motherboard going to fix this? I'm new to this situation. And im wondering if i can just move the other parts over like camera etc...or is it likely it's all fried? Thanks any more tips as well would be appreciated!

What indications do you have that the motherboard is fried?

完成的

Ah well the black burnt bits are the indication you can see them on the grey plastic side (four of them) and they corresponds to the the places on the motherboard where it's fried...

You must bare in mind that the phones IMEI is encoded into the motherboard IC's and if you charge the motherboard it wil, as far as your carrier is concerned, be a completely different phone.

Ok but these are not my phones I have no idea about the carriers yet. As long as there's no hidden pitfalls :) . I was mainly worried that a overload fries everything including the screen...hopefully not! I have one with a good screen and one with good insides...

Don't worry about carriers. The 910F is international, and you can purchase an unlock code if the carrier is different. More important is how sure are you that the LCD works? You are correct that other components such as the cameras, frames, etc., can be moved over.
