The age old liquid spuill on keyboard question

Hi

I know this is a common question but I have spilt ginger beer ion my laptop keyboard , I cleaned up and turned off as per the advice on this site , I then a day later started using it again and it was fine although a bit sticky , used a cleaner to clean the keys which worked then a day later a few keys died. I then had to go away so packed up the computer (powered off) into my bag and went away I opened u the laptop at work only to discover that it would not power up , it has been lying with everything removed for about a week in a bay of rice to absorb any excess moisture but still not joy. So could I get away with just buying a new keyboard for $249 of do I need a new logic board as well? And if I order both parts (am in the UK) and I don't open the logicboard can it be returned?

Thanks

Richard

I would check the liquid indicator sticker located in your MacBook to see what got wet, Here's where they are located: http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/08/...
