Laptop broke after restoring it to factory settings

I got a toshiba laptop running windows 10 from my dad last Christmas and within 2 months it broke. My dad repaired it but I broke again and then I repaired it. Again it broke this is when neither of us could fix it and my dad (who has the exact same laptop as me and has never had any problems) created a boot of his laptop on a usb and sent my laptop and usb to toshiba who then fixed it and again it broke within weeks. I use this laptop to play games on my breaks at work as I work nightshift and there isn't much else to do but I think the amount of games is too much or the laptop is not powerful enough to run them and it breaks the laptop. This time it refused to boot windows so I decided to reset the computer to an out of the box condition while using the usb as a recovery, this worked it when through everything it needed to and asked me to press finish and it would restart I pressed finish and it restarted, this is when it froze on a toshiba loading screen and no matter what we do it will not come off of this screen draining the battery dead, trying to access any settings, anything it won't work and when I restart the laptop it is like it was never turned off it just instantly goes straight back to the Toshiba loafing screen even after being drained of all battery, can anyone help

@euan97 ,Euan, if still under warranty , you should use it and return for repair. If out of warranty you can try a hard reset, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, install battery, then try starting laptop.

If no go, try is to reseat the Ram's, remove Ram, then put them back in making sure they are all seated properly. More trouble shooting can be found at links below. You can also do a search yourself as there is lots of info. out there. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

After trying the suggestions from @lpfaff1 you may want to try a repair with a windows disc. insert the disc and then boot from the disc . This is done by selecting the drive in the boot menu. Once you've booted from the disk you should select repair and run the repair program . If this brings no joy then reload the OS . If you dont have a disc drive then load the windows disc from an .iso onto a jump stick and boot from that This will help with that.If none of this brings Joy then pull the hard drive and run a test from another computer using a sata to usb cable or a external hard drive enclosure. Use a program like this to determine if there is a problem with your hard drive . If the hard drive is failing replace and then reload your OS . Dont forget to find your OEM key this can help with that. Hope this helps

These seem to work up until a point, it takes me through the steps of repair (toshiba wizard ect) it does all that and then says it asks me to hit finish and it will restart the computer, I did this and it restarted and went to the Toshiba loading screen but this time it had the loading symbol, I left it like this for 14 hours and still nothing so I drained the battery dead and repeated the steps with the same results
