I was replacing a battery and when I was closing the phone, I realised I left a piece out. I had to disconnect the battery but the socket came off. I think it isn't so bad as the phone powers on if I place the socket correctly and put some pressure on it, but I'm going to need help putting it back in. I have a lot of experience soldering but not with parts this small.

Here is an example of one of the many guides to perform this repair. Watch a few and see some different techniques. You may need some specialized equipment depending on the technique you choose. Perhaps some low melt solder.
